Following the reveal of the Potter prequel’s official logo (above), Entertainment Weekly has given the world the first image of Eddie Redmayne as the movie’s main character, Newt Scamander!

The movie—which begins a trilogy of new films—is still over a year away, and not much is known about it other than that it’ll see Redmayne’s Newt Scamander in New York City around the year 1920. Scamander, of course, is the famed magizoologist and author of Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them inside the Potter-verse, so we’re probably in for some CGI creature spectacle when the prequel releases in November, 2016.

What do you think of Redmayne/Scamander’s look?
