Donald Trump has a NSFW nickname, courtesy of a Republican Congressman

There are many people across America (and the world) who would struggle to describe Donald Trump in pleasant terms. And there are probably just as many, if not more, who would try to flatter the former Apprentice host, only to degrade him in private.
The Trump train of thought is simple: If you kiss the ring, you will be spared for the time being, unless it’s expedient for Trump that you are thrown to the wolves. This is a strategy that works remarkably well thanks to people like Ted Cruz, who has enthusiastically served Trump despite the latter calling the Texan’s wife ugly on national television, and insinuating his father was involved in the assassination of John F. Kennedy.
While it is successful, there’s no doubt this method of party control builds plenty of resentment among those failed casino owner Trump has wronged, even if Republican politicians give the appearance of a united front. And, sometimes this bubbles out in the most hilarious ways.
At the recent National Republican Congressional Committee (NRCC) dinner, Minnesotan congressman Tom Emmer was one of the speakers due to talk before the Home Alone 2: Lost in New York actor and current president was due to take the stage. There was plenty of what we have come to expect from modern Republican politicians: discussions of how Trump was fixing the economy despite overseeing one of the biggest stock price tumbles in recent memory, and big claims about the current administration’s drive to cut undocumented immigrants, despite many high profile arrests and deportations of U.S citizens and those here legally. That sort of thing.
Just as Emmer was reaching a crescendo of a sycophantic spiel that he thought might put him in the convicted felon’s good books for the evening, he had a verbal slip that momentarily made any Democrats watching agree with him. He maybe called Trump a very much NSFW name.
“Defeat is not an option,” began Emmer, as if he was addressing a war room and not a black tie event attended by billionaires. Then he went on to accidentally call the President the C word before quickly switching gears and saying that “Trump is counting on us.”
Now, whether Emmer meant to call Trump the derogatory term he almost let slip out is up for debate. The fact that the word “count” was next up in his speech makes it pretty certain he simply misspoke, but that didn’t stop the internet from having a bit of fun at his expense, and pointing out how they called him similar things. And, given how vengeful Trump can be, who’s to say the squirt of verbal diahhrea doesn’t come back to haunt Emmer at some point?
If Emmer does face some push back from his overlords, it really couldn’t happen to a nicer guy (sarcasm). Some of his previous positions include opposing legislation aimed at combatting homophobic bullying in schools, and trying to lesson punishments for drunk driving (he has been caught drunk-driving multiple times throughout his life), and trying to ban the minimum wage. He is also one of the foremost proponents of cryptocurrency in congress, fighting regulation of the new industry which is known for its predatory and often illegal behavior.
And if he did mean, it? Then that famous Clickhole article continues to be relevant to this day.
