Democrats prepare to launch a select committee to seize the UFO disclosure issue. ‘I just don’t trust another president’
Are they real?

Following the midterm elections, Democrats are allegedly considering forming their own UFO caucus and select committee if they take control of the House of Representatives, according to the New York Post. This push is apparently led by Andre Carson, a Democratic representative from Indiana, who chaired the first UFO congressional hearing in 2022.
Rep. Carson claims that the committee is the result of a lack of transparency on Unidentified Anomalous Phenomena (UAP), which were formerly called UFOs. Allegedly, a key UAP record report’s release has been delayed for almost two years.
Rep. Carson wants transparency on UAP
He told the Post, “Unfortunately, the current administration has not been fully transparent on UAP and has slow-walked several of the statutory requirements Congress established for UAP disclosure. For example, the Department of Defense’s All-Domain Anomaly Resolution Office was established to receive, analyze, and resolve UAP reporting — but it has delayed the release of a key historical UAP record report for almost two years.”
According to Rep. Carson, the report would include historical records of UFO sightings and reveal if classified programs were hidden from Congress. The report would also include “how incidents were investigated, the role of classified programs, and whether relevant activities were appropriately disclosed to Congress.”
Rep. Carson didn’t give specifics about the report, such as the filename or the deadlines that were missed.
Both parties seem to want disclosure about UAP
While Rep. Carson appears to be referring to a specific report that he wants released, other politicians have pushed for information about UFOs to be revealed. Even Trump pushed for NASA to release classified UFO files.
Some believe that there are incidents where UFOs are used to cover up or distract from military failures, which Joe Rogan believed was the case in May when he felt that the timing for releasing information was suspicious, as backlash was mounting over the Iran War at that time.
As Rep. Carson leads the calls for the UAP report to be released, the New York Post claims that Republican insiders revealed that they’re concerned that such a committee will end up taking ownership of the report’s findings being revealed, which they believe would otherwise be a defining moment for the Trump administration.
Others, like David Grush, who was on Rogan’s podcast, are concerned about the disclosure happening soon because he doesn’t trust that another president would be willing to disclose the information.
With both parties appearing to be interested in the disclosure of UAP reports, the issue seems to instead be centering around the timing of that disclosure and which party would receive credit for the disclosure.
