August isn’t far away now, and the BBC is teasing us with more Doctor Who images. The Cybermen seem to have taken over Cardiff in this latest set photo with Peter Capaldi and Michelle Gomez, who will play the Gatekeeper of the Nethersphere. Does that make the Doctor the keymaster?
What exactly are the Cybermen trying to delete this time? Details are scarce, but it looks like the image comes from the shoot of the season finale, which is going on right now in Cardiff, Wales. I don’t know what the Gatekeeper is up to, either, but Capaldi looks scared to even go near her for a promo photo.
It’s been a big week for one of the Doctor’s biggest foes. The image was posted two days ago, and today the BBC also announced the Cybermen Monster File ebook. It’s UK only, but it does give us a nice visual reference to the different looks of the Cybermen:
