Just take a moment out of your day to soak in how freaking badass Daisy Ridley’s Force Awakens stunt double is. Chloe Bruce worked as Ridley’s stunt double for many of Rey’s more action-oriented scenes in The Force Awakens, and it’s really clear how she got the job.. As you can see from the video, her skills with a staff are simply jaw-dropping. As a fan of quarterstaff/bo staff combat, I kind of really nerded out on this video. It’s almost like poetry in motion, y’all.
Of course, there’s a large part of me that knows Ridley can totally handle herself with a staff. Can you imagine these two going at it? Oh, gosh. Or better yet, Ray Park versus Ridley and Bruce.
