It’s a relatively new announcement, so it looks like there’s more information unfolding, but it’s just been confirmed that CBS has decided to replace Monday’s new episodes of Supergirl and NCIS: Los Angeles in the aftermath of the attacks in Paris.

According to an insider for the network, the decision was made “out of sensitivity and respect to the events that occurred.” Instead of the episodes that were intended to air, new ones that had been scheduled to air on later dates will be going up in their place. In the case of Supergirl, that means the episode “Livewire”, which had originally been set for November 23rd, will be bumped up to tomorrow. Meanwhile, NCIS: LA will be airing its December 7th episode tomorrow instead.

Monday’s episode of Supergirl, “How Does She Do It?”, had Kara trying to put a stop to bombings around National City, while the episode of NCIS: LA involved the recruitment of young women by ISIS. Given the sensitive nature of these storylines, it was undoubtedly a responsible move on CBS’s part.
