With Ridley Scott’s Blade Runner sequel happening, many are wondering what the plot of the new, female-led film will be. Including the original actresses, it seems. Just this past week Sean Young discussed whether or not Rachel would make an appearance but it’s Joanna Cassidy’s (Zhora) action that have me wondering whether she’s making a play for the sequel. A video surfaced last week of the actress that, while making some uncomfortable, made me want to shout, “I’m right on top of that, Rose!” See, apparently there was supposed to be a scene in Blade Runner with Cassidy doing an exotic reptile dance with a giant snake but it was never filmed. So Cassidy filmed it 30 years after the fact. And it’s fabulous.
