Barneys New York has revealed its holiday campaign , a collaboration with Disney, called Electric Holiday. They also revealed the designs for three of the Disney characters appearing in "short film in the window displays that will turn Disney’s most favorite heroes into runway supermodels and fashion regulars into Disney types," Minnie Mouse, Daisy Duck and Goofy.
This isn't the first time we've seen "high fashion" versions of Minnie Mouse that imply that in order for the character to be fashionable, she must be way skinnier, but this might be the one that's the creepiest. Maybe it's that she's three-dimensional. Maybe it's the way she's staring into my soul...
Like I said, this isn't the first time we've seen "high fashion" Minnie coincide with "Skinny Minnie." The next to pictures are from a line of clothing and accessories sold two years ago at Forever 21 .

Susana Polo thought she'd get her Creative Writing degree from Oberlin, work a crap job, and fake it until she made it into comics. She's spoken at events like Geek Girl Con, New York Comic Con, and Comic Book City Con, wants to get a Batwoman tattoo and write a graphic novel, and one of her canine teeth is in backwards.
