According to everywhere that this video is cropping up today, this was an “outtake” of sorts filmed during the production of Indiana Jones and the Temple of Doom, that Stephen Spielberg kept and some how recently made its way to the internet. We’d like to think it’s because of the particularly awful slur that comes out of Barbara Streisand‘s mouth at the end, but who knows (so yeah, video NSFW, use headphones). You’ll have to forgive the video and audio quality and the ad (the video has been taken off of YouTube). Hopefully, you’ll accept the sudden appearance of Barbara Streisand and Carrie Fisher in Indiana Jones as a substitute. Transcript below:
Barbra Streisand: This is for Guns of Navarone!
Streisand: Guns of Navarone? No…
Harrison Ford: For Force Ten…
Streisand: For Force Ten!
Streisand: This is for Hanover Street!
Streisand: This is for all the money you’re going to make on Return of the Jedi!
Ford: Who’s that?
Carrie Fisher: Someone who needs you!
Irvin Kershner: What the hell is the matter with you? Steve! Come on! I don’t believe one word you’re saying. Now come on, do it again.
Streisand: Give me a reason!
Ford: It’s the dialogue!
Fisher: Can I change lines?
Kershner: Listen.
Fisher: Yeah?
Kershner: I want you to believe what you are doing!
Fisher: Okay.
Kershner: You call that shouting? You call that pain?
Ford: Steven…
Kershner: Steve, how can you let him do this? Come on!
Ford: Okay ready… ready.
Fisher: I’ll be good, I promise.
Kershner: Do it again!
Ford: Really hit me! Really hit me this time!
Streisand: Okay.
Ford: Don’t do it with such… really hit me!
Streisand: “I feel like a [word that is not okay even when Barbara Streisand is saying it]…”
