On the fence about picking up LEGO Marvel’s Avengers? This might convince you: the esteemed Ashly Burch plays Kamala Khan, a.k.a. Ms. Marvel, in the game!

You might recognize Ashly Burch from her numerous voice acting performances (e.g. Chloe in Life Is Strange, Cassie Cage in Mortal Kombat X) — or perhaps from her live-action work on Rocket Jump (if you’re wondering where to start with that, try the decidedly NSFW “Fan Friction“).

LEGO Marvel’s Avengers also features appearances from Thor (by whom we mean Jane Foster), Captain America (by whom we mean Sam Wilson), and Squirrel Girl, among others — but it must be said that most of the game does revolve around recreating scenes from the big-screen Avengers movies, as opposed to some of the more exciting stuff we’ve seen on comic book pages lately.

Still, even if Ms. Marvel doesn’t have the huge role in this game that she deserves, it’s cool to see the character appear in a new format. Next: live-action Ms. Marvel? Please?
