Arizona Woman’s Date Racked Up a $250 Dinner Bill, Then Tipped the Waiter Three Crumpled Dollar Bills: ‘Horrible Date’

A woman from Arizona is talking about the “wack” dating scene in the state by sharing an incident from her own experience.
@elizabeththorne_ uploaded a video to her TikTok where she talked about a guy who had been repeatedly asking her out on a date. She says that, considering how persistent he was, she eventually decided to go out with him, but at the end of her video, she notes that it was a very bad decision. To sum up what she said about the guy, he was apparently a walking red flag who kept doing things that angered Elizabeth immensely.

Before describing what happened on her date with a guy who had been persistently asking her out for some time, @elizabeththorne_ mentioned, in her video, that she had told him beforehand that she does not drink. However, she said that during the date, he kept insisting that she get a drink for herself. Elizabeth explained that despite refusing to drink, the guy ordered some samples for her and insisted she taste them to see which she liked. Elizabeth said she took a small sip of a drink sample and showed reluctance to continue, but the guy ordered another drink for her. Elizabeth notes this as the first red flag about him.
The second red flag, she says, was when he asked their waiter to substitute the vegetables that came with his steak for something else. The waiter reportedly told him that it wasn’t possible. However, Elizabeth highlights that when his steak arrived with vegetables, he argued with the waiter. Later, he also apparently complained about his steak, saying he didn’t want it rare. Elizabeth says she offered to swap her mashed potatoes for his vegetables and her medium steak for his rare one, but he continued arguing with the waiter. At one point, she said he told the server he wouldn’t pay for the steak, and the server removed it from the check.
Talking about red flags, this Boston woman almost got trafficked after going bowling with a man she met at Home Depot.
The third red flag she noticed in the guy, Elizabeth says, was when the bill came. She mentions that the bill was $250, with the steak already deducted. Her date apparently took out three crumpled dollar bills from his wallet and placed them on the table as a tip. Elizabeth also mentions that while they were taking a picture on her phone, which he suggested, she slipped a $70 bill to the server assistant and asked him to give it to the person serving them.
Finally, Elizabeth notes that after he dropped her off at her home and kissed her, she didn’t kiss back. She mentioned that despite showing no interest in him, he asked if he could come up.
