Airbnb host finds dog hair on the bed. Now, people want to stay in her listing: ‘I hope u get infinite bookings, queen’
One clean-up video has social media begging to book her Airbnb next.

Airbnb hosting can be particularly challenging when guests bring their pets along or leave a huge mess to clean up after. Taron Teague (@taronteague), an Airbnb host, shared her recent experience on TikTok. Despite having much to clean up after, Teague went viral for her positive outlook as a host.
“Even though they had an incident with their dog—their dog peed on part of the rug—which is fine. I expect dogs to be dogs and do things like that, but the fact that they told me makes me know that it’s going to be good down there,” Teague stated. She was getting ready to clean up after an Airbnb guest checked out of her pet-friendly property.
Although some hosts may be ruffled after being informed of a guest’s pet peeing on a piece of furniture, Teague didn’t see it as an issue. The host said that her guests were “very apologetic” about the incident. Nevertheless, Teague said she reassured them by letting them know that she would clean the rug.
“They did have a lot of dog hair on the bed, which they told me about, which is also fine,” Teague said. The black fur stood out against the white duvet, which would likely throw these two Airbnb hosts into a riot. But unlike other hosts, Teague came in prepared for the cleanup.
“I’d never let our place be dog-friendly if I didn’t expect things like this to happen,” Teague added. The host would later get her ChomChom roller to remove most of the pet hair on the bed. Then, she got her Shark Stain Striker to clean the carpet, which her guest’s dog supposedly peed on.
But Teague didn’t end her video there. She also wanted to check whether or not her guests took the complimentary snacks she prepared for them.
An enthusiastic Airbnb host
“They had all of the beers, except for the cider,” the host observed. She also noticed that the guests had taken champagne and Wild Basin. Teague looked further in the fridge and saw a pack of beer left behind by the guests. At times, even untouched food items that had been left behind would be thrown out by Airbnb guests.
But Teague was pleased to find the pack of beer.
“They told me in the checkout message that she left us beer from where they’re from. That is so thoughtful,” Teague commented. She had no issues with her guests and gave them a sterling review after her cleanup and inspection.
“This was a great stay, and exactly kind of what I envisioned when I signed up to be a host. We chit-chatted a little bit, and I gave them a few recommendations,” Teague explained. Some hosts wouldn’t even show themselves when a guest stays in their property. But Teague is rather involved, ensuring that her guests would be comfortable and catered to.
“I’m going to give them a five-star and offer them a discount if they want to stay with us again,” she said. Her enthusiasm for hosting people on Airbnb earned praise from social media users.
One commenter wrote, “I hope u get infinite bookings, queen.”
Another said, “You being excited that your guests actually use the fun things you leave for them is such a fresh breath of air after all these negative videos!”
Others online even shared their negative Airbnb experiences. Some talked about being charged fees for bringing a pet. Meanwhile, some shared that they didn’t even have basic toiletries, like toilet paper, in their last stay and had to bring their own. Amidst all of this, some social media users also expressed interest in renting out Teague’s property, drawn by her excitement as an Airbnb host.
