After President, Trump sets eyes on sports counselor role, and his first client is a kid

Trump’s recent address at the Oval Office, attended by several young athletes, has gained significant traction online as people share clips from the event on social media platforms, including X (formerly Twitter). While there are many videos of the event circulating online, the ones drawing the most attention are the ones where Trump says highly controversial things.
One such video features Trump interacting with a young girl and asking about her interests in sports. She mentions that she plays volleyball but also plans to start playing soccer. Trump’s response to this young girl is stirring debate on the internet, with many criticizing him for his comment and many supporting him for the same reason.
Trump gives career advice to a kid
A clip is currently going viral on X, causing quite a stir among people with divided opinions. As mentioned earlier, it involves a young girl who was at the Oval Office on Trump’s invitation and was asked about the sport she plays, as all the children gathered there were young athletes representing the United States.
Responding to Trump’s question, the girl said, “I play volleyball, and in the summer I’m trying to get into soccer.” After this, Trump asked, “And with your height, do you smash the volleyball? Can you get up high? Can you jump high?” to which the girl replied, “Not very.” Then Trump said, “Soccer might be better.” This interaction has caused many people on the internet to get furious, as they believe Trump was height-shaming the girl and trying to determine her sports preferences based on her height “restrictions.” Not only that, but people also argued that Trump was demoralizing the girl and steering her away from something she genuinely seemed excited about. However, some people, as expected, showed support for him, mostly saying the incident was a light-hearted moment between Trump and the girl that was being blown out of proportion.
Trump updates kids on Iran
In other news, during the same event, Trump discussed Iran and told kids how it was important for the United States to attack Iran to prevent being attacked first. He claimed Iran was planning a nuclear strike against the U.S., but then the U.S. destroyed Iran, preventing it from facing imminent danger.
Talking about the countries most vulnerable to Iran’s attacks if the U.S. hadn’t intervened, Trump said Middle Eastern countries, including Israel, were the most likely to be attacked. He also mentioned that Europe was the next in line to be vulnerable, followed by the United States.
