Adventure Time: The Depressing Movie Trailer

I’m hard pressed to say whether Gritty Reboot’s trailer for Adventure Time is either grittier or sadder than the show has ever been. I mean, we’re talking about a kids cartoon that has an entire episode following a character as she confronts the dementia of her oldest friend. A show that has a high placed official in the government turn a revolutionary’s children into demonic monsters in order to convince him to end his campaign. I mean, okay, it really seemed like they enjoyed being monsters, though.
