Sad news today to kill our post-Golden Globes … um … buzz? David Bowie, 69 years old, has passed away after an 18-month battle with cancer. As he was a huge part of the music world, many will be searching for the perfect Bowie tribute—likely musical—today.

This is not that tribute, but as a huge part of my childhood, Labyrinth is where my mind goes first. All hail the Goblin King.

And while we’re on Bowie’s music in movies, let’s not forget all the awesome Bowie covers that made up the Life Aquatic soundtrack:
