Many can relate to the feeling of opening a package they’ve been wanting: the rush of adrenaline flooding the body until you realize it wasn’t what you ordered. In real time, this Nordstrom customer’s excitement transformed to rage after her order didn’t contain her $600 Nuna stroller.

What Was Inside This Nordstrom Package?

“Open up my Nuna Travel LX stroller with me,” Washington-based stay-at-home-mom Brynn (@theblessedfam) says, referring her Nordstrom box.

Appearance-wise, the package has the Nuna logo and stroller design on it. However, the taped-down flap ends up being the first red flag. Then, she leans over it and slices the tape off. Successful, she tosses the knife and pulls back the two flaps. What she sees raises eyebrows.

“Is that a comforter?” she asks, tilting the package to unveil a beige comforter strapped inside.

Initially, the content creator brushes this off as part of the manufacturing process. After Brynne struggles to pull out the heavy blanket onto the floor, it is all in vain: there is nothing wedged between the material or at the bottom of the box, only a singular comforter.

Eyes wide, she is on the verge of a crashout. “Oh [expletive] no,” Brynne seethes, angrily shoving the comforter back into the box and sealing it shut. “My blood is boiling.”

People Are Shocked

Brynne’s unboxing video amassed 781,000 views, and the comments section fiercely debated the authenticity.

“That’s nordstrom’s fault but i support you getting a free stroller from nuna lol,” one viewer commented.

“That is terrible and so embarrassing for Nordstrom. Why aren’t they checking returns before repackaging it for another customer?!” a second stated.

“The saxophones definitely got louder omg,” a third said.

“Wait why does this feel like you added the comforter and taped the box to get something for free? Idk I’m sketched out lol,” a fourth remarked.

“You can tell it’s been re sealed. Imagine doing that just for content like that’s disgusting. think of the business reputation,” a fifth echoed.

What Is Nordstrom’s Return Policy?

According to the company’s website, they handle each return on a case-by-case basis to make every customer happy. From there, customers have the option to mail their return either in-store or online, though it’s quicker to do this in-person. In a follow-up video, Brynne chose to hit her local Nordstrom.

“Girl, that was so bad,” she told a female employee off-camera. “I was so mad, like what the heck? How did that happen?”

According to the text overlay, this was the associate’s mistake, which she apologized for. Luckily, the content creator secured a new Nuna stroller.

“Definitely feel like strollers in here,” she said. “Hopefully it’s all good.” Because this was a manufacturing error, she was able to receive a refund.

The Nordstrom Saga Finale

This time, Brynne restarted the segment from scratch with her newly acquired stroller.

“Unbox my brand new Nuna Travel LX with me,” she said in her final clip. “This is what I should’ve gotten. I only got this because I needed it quickly and I know shipping it would have taken at least a week.”

From there, she tore off the cardboard seal and pulled up the flap. As she opened the box, it appeared promising, as she fished out plastic-wrapped wheels and a travel bag. Then, she revealed the moment viewers have been waiting for: a folded black stroller.

After it unfolded, the content creator pieced it together until it was complete. “This was worth the hassle,” Brynne said.

While she likes Nordstrom’s products, she remained unsure whether she would purchase baby products from them.

@theblessedfam @nuna_usa you have major explaining to do. This was my FIRST offical purchase from you guys and THIS HAPPENS WHAT. You better believe IF I buy again, I will be checking all my boxes now in person. This should NEVER happen with how EXPENSIVE this brand is. I was actually raging… 1. Whoever did this got a free stroller and a refund from this 2. We all have to pay this price UNLESS you’re an influencer… 3. I expect a brand new stroller in the box, if I wanted a used stroller I’d use Facebook marketplace… my other NUNA stroller I have is from Facebook marketplace so this being my first purchase from Nuna is WILD to me. To say disappointed is an understatement. Thanks for watching ? #nuna #nunastroller #fail #upset #mom ♬ Saxophones getting louder – Sped Up – AntonioVivald
