In a TikTok video, @Indoorgirl111 documented her husband’s proud reaction to her returning from a Palo Alto shopping spree. He complimented her outfits, said she looked “dynamite” in each one, and emphasized “how much” she had changed before slipping in a quick “I love you” at the end of the conversation.
@indoorgirl111’s husband praised her for her dedication to traveling “all the way” to Palo Alto during a workday just to go shopping and underlined he was happy she spent thousands of dollars on clothes.
“And you go, and you spend thousands of dollars on clothes, and you’re just like picking such cute stuff out, and you come back, and you look dynamite in every single piece,” he said, adding that she seemed to have had a “fun time” doing it.

This isn’t the first time someone’s husband has encouraged their wife to do something they really wanted to, like this man who insisted his wife go on vacation.
A research paper published by Carnegie Mellon University sheds light on an important discussion about relationships, focusing on the role “support” plays in married couples. After studying 163 couples, the paper suggested that supportive spouses were “more likely” to take on “potentially rewarding challenges: “Significant others can help you thrive through embracing life opportunities. Or they can hinder your ability to thrive by making it less likely that you’ll pursue opportunities for growth.”
It also observed that couples who “accepted the challenges” showed greater personal growth, happiness, mental health, and improved relationship functioning several months later. If applied to the relationship @indoorgirl111 and her husband appear to share, at least one of these four findings can be assumed to be true based on the available information.

His reaction in this video is in line with what was seen in the previous one, leading many to ask whether he was high and, more pointedly, whether @indoorgirl111 was giving anything to him.
