‘Literally 25 People’: Actor Rushes in to Defend Trump After Adam Kinzinger Pokes Fun at the Low Footfall at the Great American State Fair
All's 'Fair' in Love and War

From June 25, 2026, to July 10, 2026, the Great American State Fair is happening on the National Mall in Washington, DC, between 14th and 4th Streets. The event is open to everyone and is free of charge. The official page for the event describes it as “a world-class exposition and modern-day World’s Fair celebrating the people, traditions, innovations, and spirit that make America the greatest nation on Earth.”
Since it started, a few people have shared posts about the Great American State Fair on social media, including actor and producer Dean Cain. Cain posted a picture on X (formerly Twitter) showing his view from a Ferris wheel at the Fair, which drew a lot of attention on the platform. Many commented on the low attendance, noting that the ground in the photo showed very few people. One of those was former United States Representative and a longtime Trump critic, Adam Kinzinger.
Adam Kinzinger pokes fun at Dean Cain’s X post
As previously mentioned, on June 28, 2026, Dean Cain posted a photo of his view from the top of a Ferris wheel at the ongoing Great American State Fair. The image drew a lot of criticism in the comments section of his post and elsewhere for the noticeably smaller crowd visible in it.
Adam Kinzinger, in a comment he left under Cain’s post, said, “Hahahaha dude this is not the picture to show. All 6 people.” Replying to Kinzinger’s comment, Cain, while defending the turnout at the fair in another comment, wrote, “There were thousands of people there and all around DC today, Adam. Why do you wish it was empty? That seems odd…”
Adam Kinzinger did not leave Dean Cain hanging with his comments about him
Adam Kinzinger decided to respond to Cain’s “thousands of people” comment directed at him with a separate post. In it, Kinzinger wrote, while directly addressing Dean Caine, that he did not wish the ground at the fair to be empty but hoped that Donald Trump had not “turned the celebration of America into a celebration of HIM,” while emphasizing that “America is about no allegiance to one man.”
Additionally, Kinzinger also highlighted that he had been looking forward to the 250 celebration since he was a kid and heard about the 200 celebration, but wasn’t as excited anymore, as he believes Trump ruined it for his “80 year old ego.” Many people commented under Kinzinger’s post where he makes this pointed remark at Caine. While most of the commenters agreed with Kinzinger, a few did not, as expected.
