An Arizona woman thought she was in for a night of being wined and dined. Instead, her seemingly perfect date ended at a police station, where she found herself trying to bail him out.

In a video with 57,500 views, TikToker Kennedy Rae (@kennedyy.raeee) shared how her date took a turn for the worse. She said the police had to get involved, leaving viewers stunned at how quickly things escalated.

“My dates getting put in handcuffs rn,” the text over the clip read. “Wait, this is so Kennedy coded and actually shouldn’t surprise any of you.”

It appears her date’s arrest left her having to consult with Google about how to reverse his G-Wagon.

How to reverse a G-Wagon?

Apparently, the woman couldn’t even figure out how to drive the car she was left with after the arrest. Kennedy’s video included Google search results for how to reverse the luxury Mercedes-Benz vehicle. It highlighted just how out of her depth she felt in the moment.

First, it instructed her to press the brake pedal and then push the “DIRECT SELECT” stalk lever on the right side of the steering wheel up until “the first point of resistance.”

So with these instructions in mind, it appears the woman set off on an important quest: to bail her date out of the local jail.

In the next shot of the video, Kennedy recorded herself walking to the police station. She was using the phone to communicate with officers inside, documenting the surreal aftermath of what was supposed to be a simple night out.

Should you bail a date out of jail?

In the video’s comments section, many debated whether the woman should’ve bailed her date out in the first place. Opinions ranged from disbelief to reluctant admiration.

“Why would you bail him out ??” user Carly wondered.

“Not you literally bailing him out,” user hol // colorado mama commented.

Others commended the woman for holding the man down, despite his arrest.

“You’re a real one,” user Jayjay1112 said.

Ultimately, when the decision for her to bail on her date or bail him out of jail came up, she chose the latter, leaning into the chaos rather than walking away.

Kennedy also responded that her date appreciated the gesture.

“He definitely thought the same hahha,” the woman responded to the comment.
