‘He’s unfit- just like the rest’: Kash Patel’s Olympics conduct labeled ‘inappropriate’ as Former FBI Deputy publicly dismantles him

Federal Bureau of Investigation Director Kash Patel is facing significant criticism from people since his appearance at an after-party celebration with the US hockey team in Italy following their win. Patel, who was allegedly there for work, in videos that have circulating on social media, can be seen chugging a beer, hooting, screaming, and banging tables in excitement.

So why are people bashing him? While it is normal for people working with the government to have a personal life where they enjoy normal things, it is unacceptable for them to do so at the expense of the people they are supposed to serve, in this case, the American people. Yes, that’s what the recent talk of the town is: that Patel, who was earlier believed to have gone to Italy for work, went there to watch the USA hockey match and celebrate with the players. To top it off, he took a private jet to the location, one that was funded by American taxpayer dollars.

Kash Patel is defending himself following the scrutiny, but it isn’t working

After Kash Patel received flak from netizens following his low-key erratic behaviour during the men’s hockey team celebrations, following their win, he took to X (formerly Twitter) and penned a post defending himself. He wrote:

For the very concerned media – yes, I love America and was extremely humbled when my friends, the newly minted Gold Medal winners on Team USA, invited me into the locker room to celebrate this historic moment with the boys- Greatest country on earth and greatest sport on earth.”

Following this, he shared a series of other posts indicating that he was, in fact, there for work and had joined the celebrations after being invited by the hockey players. However, people on the platform are not buying it. Several people have flooded the comments section of his post, accusing him of exploiting his privileges. They are also condemning him for not working enough in his role as the FBI director.

Former FBI Deputy Director Andrew McCabe is calling Kash Patel’s decorum in Italy ‘inappropriate’

https://x.com/RpsAgainstTrump/status/2026078862270988602While appearing in a recent news segment on CNN, Andrew McCabe, who held the position of Deputy Director of the FBI from February 2016 to March 2018, was asked by host Jake Tapper to comment on Kash Patel’s presence at the Olympics in Italy and the infamous locker room celebrations that have put him at the centre of significant controversy. Discussing the same, McCabe said, “The video is ridiculous, and it was completely inappropriate for him to be engaging, to go at all. Let’s be honest. The excuse that he had to go for security meetings the day before the games are over is patently ridiculous.”

McCabe then proceeded to give an example of why he thinks Patel was in Italy for pleasure and not for work, stating that Robert Mueller had once travelled to Greece to attend important meetings approximately eight months before the Olympics started, adding that this is roughly the time gap between negotiations and the actual event. According to McCabe, the same rules out the theory that Patel was there for work.
