This is pure hilarity and adorableness that you’re not going to want to ask too many questions about. Just let the moment wash over you. That’s right. Charleston, WV CBS/FOX news anchor Katy Andersen tweeted this majesty last week, saying that “A woman was shocked to discover her neighbor’s Corgi was sneaking onto her property at night and… riding her pony?”
CBS/FOX News 59 reports that 22-year-old Bolivar, MO resident, Callie Schenker, came home to find her neighbor’s corgi riding atop her one-eyed pony, Cricket. She posted the 15-second video on her Facebook page, saying, “I can’t make this stuff up!!! So we pull back in our driveway tonight and this is what we see. This is not our dog! But apparently him and Cricket the one-eyed wonder pony are best friends.”
Apparently, the dog’s owners are Mennonites who avoid going online, so they likely don’t know just how famous their dog is right now.
Some internet denizens, however, are super-cynical, asking how the short-legged corgi got up there without help. After all, corgis aren’t known for their jumping prowess.
So, did the corgi hop up while the pony was lying down? Was there some kind of human assist? Does. Not. Matter. Because look how comfy it is up there! And look how quickly the pony, when the prying eyes of the outside world are upon them, quickly trots their corgi friend away!
