While I’ve been a bit miffed that The Wasp, who in the comics was one of the founding members of the Avengers, was no where near the Avengers film in the MCU, leaving Black Widow to be the lone main female character on the team at first, I was thrilled to see that the character—or the mantle, at least—appeared first via Ant-Man with the introduction of Hope van Dyne and now more front-and-center as a costumed superhero in Ant-Man and The Wasp. Check out this first glimpse of Evangeline Lilly in costume, which she posted on Twitter in celebration of Jack Kirby’s birthday.

- Joshua Witt, who recently told police in Colorado that he was stabbed “for looking like a neo-Nazi,” blaming the stabbing on a “black man in his mid-20s,” admitted that he made the whole thing up. Because racists are horrible. He could now pay a $2,500 fine, or go to jail for a year for false reporting to the police. (via The Daily Dot)
