Filmmaker Harley Weir directed a short film called A Film for Planned Parenthood of New York City, in which prominent women like Amber Valetta, Hari Nef, Jemima Kirke, Grimes, Hanne Gaby Odiele, Paloma Elsesser, Selena Forrest, and Stella Tennant discuss the ins and outs of femininity: what it means, and what it doesn’t mean, all to encourage donations and help to Planned Parenthood in New York and nationwide.

  • Marvel’s Star Wars comic series is changing its creative team. After an awesome 40-issue run by Jason Aaron and artists like John Cassaday and Stuart Immonen, the title is getting some new blood this fall in the form of writer Kieron Gillen (Darth Vader, The Wicked + The Divine) and artist Salvador Larroca (Fantastic Four, Invincible Iron Man).
