It’s two cartoonishly ridiculous Batmen for the price of one! That price was already free, so this is quite a bargain. Yes, How It Should Have Ended has finally taken on The Lego Batman Movie, and there’s a pretty good reason it’s taken months for them to get to such an obvious pick: stop motion is time consuming.
This edition of HISHE is also pretty short, but it was definitely worth the effort for the payoff for the ending and the transition to the coffee shop. They even brought in a guest animator, Eric Beaton, for the stop motion animation, and the result is a fairly perfect meeting of two Batmen who were pretty much made for each other.
