Alison Brie is bringing her comedic sensibilities to the squared circle in a new show for Netflix. The Community actress is set to star in G.L.O.W., a female wrestling series from Orange is the New Black creator Jenji Kohan.

For those of you who are living for WWE’s Divas Revolution, love Brie or just enjoy seeing tough women duking it out in the ring, this might be right up your alley. According to Variety, the show will based on the popular ‘80s female wrestling group, Gorgeous Ladies of Wrestling, which toured the country until 1990.  Brie will play an out of work actress who makes a final attempt to live out her dream of performing in front of others via a weekly series on the female athletes.

The first season of the comedy, which was picked up in May, will be comprised of 10 episodes. A release date has yet to be set.

Netflix, known for its uniquely creative lineup (I mean, Stranger Things and The Get Down are just recent examples), will surely have its hands full with what is likely the first fictional series based solely on women’s wrestling. The only other shows that would come even close to this are the E! docuseries Total Divas and its forthcoming spinoff Total Bellas.

Still, with the streaming network’s track record of producing great shows, a reliable showrunner behind the scenes, and Brie in the lead role, signs point to this series being something worth watching.
