“On Your Mark. Get Set. GO!” — Another Glimpse of the Supergirl/The Flash Crossover

Recommended Videos

CBS is releasing footage from the highly-anticipated Supergirl/The Flash crossover one drop at a time. Today, they released another too-short video that was nonetheless goosebump-inducing if you’re a fan of either show. SPOILER ALERT: I’m a fan of both! The struggle with goosebumps is real.

There’s been a lot of talk in DCTV fandom – and, um, in my apartment between me and my fiancee – about which of these two heroes will win the inevitable race that’s happening in this episode. Personally, I think they might be setting up Kara to win this one – especially since James mentioned in the episode “Solitude” that Kara is faster than her cousin. I feel like they wouldn’t be bringing that up except to set up her speed for SupergirlxTheFlash.

Plus, there’s the stuff that they’ve established on The Flash that different Earths vibrate at different frequencies and The Flash’s powers might not work the same everywhere. If The Flash is coming to National City via some kind of multiverse portal (the official description mentions him suddenly appearing from an “alternate universe”), he might not be as fast on Supergirl’s Earth.

Whatever happens, I’m so excited to see these two heroes on screen together. Here are some additional official images from the episode!

The Supergirl/The Flash crossover episode, “World’s Finest,” airs March 28th after Monday’s episode of Supergirl, “Manhunter.” Will you be watching?
