Fresh off the Boat’s Constance Wu is a total star, and soon she’ll be showing off her skills in You and Me Both, the feature debut from director Jennifer Cho Suhr. IndieWire explains,
The film tells the story of two sisters — one a struggling addict, played by Wu — who take to the road to locate their birth mother. Variety reports that en route from Iowa to Alaska, the movie will explore “themes of grief, forgiveness and belonging,” while “showcasing the breadth and range of the Asian American experience with complicated and deeply human characters.”
You and Me Both will be produced by Carolyn Mao (American Viral) and Mollye Asher (Fort Tilden). So many rad ladies together on one project!
