There’s Going To Be an O.C. Reunion On Gotham

And no, it's not Captain Oats.

Well, this is somewhat inevitable, right? E! News has confirmed the arrival of a former O.C. cast member in Gotham City–and it sounds like this character isn’t a far cry from her West Coast counterpart.

We already knew Gotham actor Ben McKenzie from his humble beginnings as Ryan Atwood on The O.C.–and now he’ll be dealing with Julie Cooper herself. Actress Melinda Clarke has been cast in a recurring role as Grace Van Dahl, a character original to the show who hasn’t appeared in any DC canon before and who definitely sounds like something of a black widow type.

According to McKenzie, however, he’d be more than up for working with more of his co-stars from The O.C.–he told E! News after season one of Gotham that he’s hoping to work with Adam Brody again. Brody might be a new dad and all, but surely he could fit a small guest appearance in his schedule?

How about it, friends? If you could pick any one of McKenzie’s co-stars from The O.C. to guest on Gotham, who would it be and what character would you want them to play?
