The Mystery Science Theater 3000 revival Kickstarter is nearing its end, and it hasn’t quite crossed the necessary $5 million mark needed to produce a full season of 12 episodes. Don’t lose hope yet, though! The campaign is closing out with a telethon with the new cast, other celebrities, and hopefully some of your cash.

After easily passing its initial goal of $2 million, the revival now sits at just under $4.2 million. At this rate, with just days left to go, it seems that the $4.4 million threshold for nine episodes is a sure thing. Five million dollars is still a bit of a hike, though, and that’s where the telethon comes in when it kicks off on December 11 at 5PM ET and run for eight hours—the Kickstarter ends December 12.

The event will start with two of series creator Joel Hodgson’s favorite, hand-picked episodes, and then guests will stop by to help fuel the hype train’s fire, including Community creator Dan Harmon, his Rick and Morty co-creator Justin Roiland, Adventure Time creator Pendleton Ward, and more. The new MST3K cast (Jonah Ray, Felicia Day, Patton Oswalt) will also be on-hand for the festivities.

In anticipation, the stream is already live, as you can see above, so keep circulating the news!
