With Furious 7 nearly in theaters, Helen Mirren is already thinking about the franchise’s next installment—specifically in regards to how much she wants to be in it/ways to ensure we will feel a sudden urge to go see it.

Speaking to Yahoo Movies, Mirren explained that she has a need for speed—and experience to boot:

My great ambition is to be in a Fast and Furious movie. I so want to be a mad driver in a Fast and Furious movie. My claim to fame is I always do my own driving—I was on Top Gear, and I did [my lap] in a very good time. I keep putting it out there, and they never ask me. I’ll be in Fast and Furious 8.

Wait, she keeps putting it out there? What are you even doing, Fast and Furious movies? Do you not want to make more of this ridiculousness, only with Mirren doing her own flipping stunt driving? Anyone who says they wouldn’t watch the crap out of that movie is lying to us and to themselves.

Mirren’s Fast 8 pitch came about while she was discussing an increase in quality action lead roles for women. She said, “Finally, you’re getting great female teenaged heroines. I love that, I think that’s great,” but she clearly thinks there should be more roles for women her own age, and we couldn’t agree more.

She also mentioned that Vin Diesel is “brilliant” and she’d really like to work with him, but at the same time, all the awesome driving: “It’s partly because of him I’d like to be in one, but also the driving.” By the way, did she mention how much she wants to impress us all with her driving skills yet?
