At this point, I think it’s safe to say we all know the that zombie apocalypse is an inevitability. But will you be prepared for the end times? Michigan State University has your back, and is offering a course that will teach you everything you need to know in order to transform yourself into a walker-fighter Rick Grimes would be proud of.

Called “Surviving the Coming Zombie Apocalypse: Disasters, Catastrophes, and Human Behavior,” the course will apparently teach you about the “nature, scope and impact of catastrophic events” before assigning you to a hypothetical Survival Group somewhere in the US. From there, you’ll have to “face the challenges of living and surviving together during a catastrophic event.” I’m assuming “try not to have any babies, Lori” is covered in the syllabus.

Here’s the trailer for the class (yes, the class has a trailer):

If you’re interested, you can check out the course page over at Michigan State University. Personally, I think a zombie apocalypse course would probably be more useful than my Masters in English Lit.
