Do You Believe in Miracles? Because the Insane Clown Posse is Getting a TV Show

In this context, we are using the word "miracles" to mean "things that absolutely should not be possible but are still happening."

Just like the Insane Clown Posse, we’ve also got a theory about magic and miracles. They must not exist, because if they did, then somebody would have used one or the other to stop the execs at Fuse from allowing the Insane Clown Posse Theater television show from happening and it is happening. They’re filming it right now in New York, and it’s set to premiere on Wednesday, July 26th. May God have mercy on all our souls.

According to a reporter at the Wrap who witnessed the insanity first hand, Violent J and Shaggy 2 Dope shot outside the People’s Improv Theater in New York City on Sunday, and plan for the upcoming show to include both comedy sketches and interviews with special guests. There will also be plenty of time for the two to offer their own thoughts on current events in music and pop culture, because apparently they have those. If their video series on Fuse.tv is any indication, it will be a lot of  them watching trailers and music videos and completely missing the point. For example, here is them missing the point of the Les Miserables trailer (although that dig on Helena Bonham Carter was actually rather insightful):

I derived as much sick pleasure from watching the music video for “Miracles” on a loop as you all did. I mean, come in, it’s pretty ridiculous. But a whole television show? With commercial breaks and sponsors and things? I don’t know that even I could handle that, and I watch some pretty bad television. On a positive note, it does make me want to give up television altogether and go out and explore nature or something, which I guess the ICP would appreciate, on account of their being magic all around the

Of course, I might be wrong and this might be an absolutely brilliant strategy on Fuse’s part. ICP fans, or Ninjas, are super-devoted to the point of being called “rabid,” so maybe they’ll all tune in out of sheer devotion to the Juggalo cause. And to be honest, some of their Youtube music video reviews are kind of hilarious. If Fuse is in on the joke, they could make something that doesn’t make me weep for humanity upon watching it. You know, any more than the very idea of ICP makes me want to weep for humanity.

You know what I would really love to see, though? An ICP show that was all about a scientist attempting to explain basic concepts of physics and biology to the two guys. Or perhaps a travel show similar to Karl Pilkington’s An Idiot Abroad or Dominic Monaghan’s Wild Things, where they’d take Violent J and Shaggy to see the pyramids or to interact with animals in the jungle. Now there’s some shit that would shock our eyelids.
