Another day, another bout of Muppet mania on the web: This time, with a car alarm-caliber cover of R&B classic “Stand by Me,” as performed by Big Mean Carl.

It’s probably not too much of a spoiler to note that at the end, it turns out that the whole thing is being watched on a computer by Statler and Waldorf, the two old men who routinely heckle Muppet performances from their balcony seats; as past Web-friendly Muppet shorts have proven by putting them in surprisingly fitting web critic roles, maybe those guys really should have been bloggers all along.
