Jamie Caliri has a well-rounded career in music videos and animation (including work for the opening and closing credits for Lemony Snicket’s A Series of Unfortunate Events), and for The Shins, he combined both of his talents in this Edward Gorey-inspired, stop-motion video for the band’s single “The Rifle’s Spiral.” There’s much to like about it, especially if you like androgynous magicians, slightly twisted imagery, and bunny rabbits.
