Middle Earth Public Service Announcements Want Everyone to Admit that “Elevenses” Is Just Brunch

But what do you call brunch with $18 all-you-can-drink-mimosas in Middle Earth? I’m asking for… a friend. Dorkly put together a bunch of Lord of the Rings themed PSAs, and every one of them is vital information for your every day life.     Elevenses is totally brunch, but calling it elevenses is way more fun. And I totally eat elevenses! (only one breakfast though)

    Elevenses isn’t brunch. It’s not a meal, it’s your mid-morning snack (cup of tea/coffee with a biscuit, piece of fruit or whatever). Is it not a thing in the US? Because it doesn’t even have Tolkien associations over here.

    I eat like a hobbit now that I’m in college. I’m already short and regularly wear a cloak, so I’m not sure if this is surprising or not.

    Elevensesisn’t Brunch. It’s a cup of tea with a biscuit or a small sandwich.

    Yeah! Elevenses is a snack in addition to eating breakfast and lunch. Brunch is a single meal that replaces the other two. Stop trying to replace our ridiculous words with your ridiculous words, not-Britain!
