The Lone Gunmen Are Back! Fan Favorite Characters Set to Appear in the X-Files Revival

In more  X-Files revival casting news: At a recent event in Sydney, Australia, actor Dean Haglund, who played “Ringo” Langley (aka, the Lone Gunman with the long blond hair) on the original The X-Files, confirmed that he – along with fellow Lone Gunmen Tom Braidwood (Frohike) and Bruce Harwood (Byers) – would be taking part in the X-Files revival on FOX!

He then took to Twitter to confirm the news for everyone else:

Now, this might be weird, considering that the Lone Gunmen seemed to meet a pretty final end in the last season of The X-Files. Then again, this is a show about aliens. Anything can happen.

*GASP* What if the Lone Gunmen are embodied by aliens now? What if they ARE the conspiracy?

Though the X-Files revival doesn’t have a set air date, footage from the show will be shown on FOX during the season finale of the M. Night Shyamalan show Wayward Pines tomorrow night (the 23rd). Start getting excited!

How do you think the Lone Gunmen will return to the world of The X-Files?
