Lin-Manuel Miranda is hosting SNL with Twenty-One Pilots this week, which means slightly awkward, funny promos!  In some clips with Cecily Strong, the two sit at a restaurant and joke about how impossible Hamilton tickets are to get, how Cecily’s more of a Lin-Manuel Samantha in a Sex and the City joke (you’re not a Carrie Lin!), and what Miranda thought about Strong’s portrayal of him in “Celebrity Family Feud: Political Edition.”
The two also poke some fun at the fact that Miranda doesn’t rap in the promo, though I’m sure we’ll hear some great rhymes when he’s hosting. If you’re impatient though, you can watch his freestyle on The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon, which includes a nice Hillary Clinton endorsement.
The moral of the story: don’t upset Lin-Manuel Miranda otherwise you’ll have to eat your meal vinegar-less. Are you pumped to see Miranda host SNL?
