John Williams’ Harry Potter Theme Performed On Glassware

The music created by composer John Williams for the Harry Potter films are among my all-time favorites. Hedwig’s Theme in particular always gives me happy thoughts. Here we have it played on a series of glasses. I don’t think this constitutes a glass harmonica (correct me if I’m wrong, music lovers) but I’m sure you’re familiar with the concept. Different glasses are filled with varying amounts of water to produce specific notes. I think the effect here is rather spectacular.

the title there says it’s a glass harp, rather than harmonica. Though I don’t know what difference that makes.

They’re the same thing. Conversely, another name for harmonica is mouth harp!

Wow!  This is awesome.  I vote for all music I like to have glass harp covers (or remakes, whatever).

Absolutely, jaw-droppingly awe-inspiring.  this would sound great coming from the confines of the Three Broomsticks or Leaky Cauldron any time!
