What If Beauty Pageants Were About Geekiness But Otherwise Completely Unchanged?

Reddit commenters gave us a little taste of what that might be like (in the best possible way) when imclassythx posted this picture under the heading This Is Why My Daughter Is Cooler Than Yours. A challenger quickly arose:

So the answer is, child beauty pageants based on geekiness would probably still be awful, with lots of parents living vicariously through their children and projecting their own wants and desires onto them. Best to keep it like this, the internet equivalent of proud parents sharing wallet photos.

    I would absolutely love to organise something like this. If I didn’t live in a small soutern town in England (and wasn’t and Uni, had lots of money and spare time) I would organize one of these.

    Just looking at the adorableness makes me excited for when I’m going to have a kid.

    Few years yet though. ^^;

    I prefer this over beauty pageants I mean I did them as did my little sister when we were kids but for us we did it for fun cause our mom told us to have fun these moms on shows like toddlers in tiara’s are awful they make their child feel like trash if they don’t win
