Good job on that, uh, “Forest Maiden”‘s hair, Lego. It’s actually really impressive given it’s made out of molded plastic.

A few of our other favorites—Roller Derby Girl, albino Cylon Battle Mech, Dr. Jekyll and Mr. Hyde Mr. Good and Evil, and a Marilyn Monroe Hollywood Starlet minifig holding a mini-minifig-sized Oscar (be still my beating heart)—are behind the jump.

    They’ve had those for a long time! I remember the first time they released a Princess lego with a castle I bought – she had lipstick! It was probably in the early 90s…? Maybe?

    Back in the 80′s, the only difference between the figs was the hair-if you wanted a girl, you just popped on the plastic pigtails. :)
