Cosplayers Lip-Dub To Bon Jovi’s “It’s My Life” [VIDEO]

Ok, before we do anything here, can someone please explain to me what lip-dub is? I feel like I only started seeing it a while ago and I see no difference between it and lip-syncing. What am I missing? Anyway, here’s a video of the so-called lip-dubbing created by Rob from Cosplay Fever. It was shot last October in London during the MCM Expo. And yes, this isn’t the first time they’ve done it.

    Well, lip-dubs are basically lip-syncing. The only difference between that and a music video is that the singing is taken in all one shot. The only editing done to a lip-dub in the audio being placed over the clip. Both of these “lip-dubs” are in fact just music videos with lip-syncing. Not that it makes much a difference, but there is a distinction.

    Yeah I’ve read that, I guess I don’t get why the fact that the music is replaced afterwards (with the exact same music that was playing at the time) means it had to get a completely different name. ::shrug::

    Love this video! And if I understand Natalie correctly, lip dubbing are videos and lip sync’ing is what Ashlee Simpson did on SNL…
