    Very decent of him. And kudos to him and his wife for doing it by themselves, without WB and all.  I think he sort of announced himself to a city official, which was the polite thing to do, and he specifically asked that the media *not* be alerted, presumably so that it won’t turn into a circus.

    Alot of people have been busting on Bale for showing up, but the dude honestly scores all kinds of points in my book for doing this. Regardless of what people may think of him, I bet is was awesome for the people who were hurt to see Bale and hear his condolences first hand.

    i think it is a tribute also to this website that they offered the photos without comment. not that their commentary is bad, but i think it was in good taste to not put themselves in a position where they have to argue a point or take a side. it is what it is and we should all be able to appreciate that. thank you mary sue!
