World’s First BMX Triple Backflip [Video]

24-year-old New Zealander Jed Mildon managed to land the world’s first BMX triple backflip during the Unit T3 Mindtricks BMX Jam in Taupo, New Zealand two days ago. He practiced the stunt for three months, flipping into a foam pit, and a Guinness Book of World Records representative attended the event to approve the authenticity of the triple backflip.

Mildon, following the jump:

“This is the perfect result to three intensive months of practicing and training for this moment.

The impact and implications hasn’t [sic] sunken in yet, but I’m so pumped to have aimed for something once deemed impossible and made my dream a reality.”
