Woman Witnessed Her Bully’s Massachusetts Wedding on TikTok. She Was in for a Pleasant Surprise: ‘You Proved Me Wrong.’

There’s nothing more satisfying than seeing a bully change their whole life’s trajectory after a clapback from one of their victims. A woman (@inaquarter_life_crisis) told TikTok about a time she found out about her high school bully’s wedding in Massachusetts. She couldn’t believe who she was marrying.

She was scrolling on TikTok when a DJ’s event passed through her For You page. It was a wedding in Massachusetts. At first, she didn’t think she’d recognize anyone until she spotted the bride. It was Kristen, her high school bully.

The woman provided important context for her story. Kristen is a biracial girl with a White mother and a Black father. Back when they were in high school, Kristen was a junior, and she was just a freshman.

“Kristen used to have these minions that would literally jump when she said ‘jump’ and skip when she said ‘skip.’ And Kristen was very, very, very popular,” she claimed. The woman further stated that Kristen is beautiful.

However, Kristen was a bully, and she especially loved targeting Black girls in school.

“Her usual for me was ‘darky,’ Flavor Flav, ‘turn the light off…'” she recounted. The woman was subject to the insults because she is Black.

But one day, she and Kristen were put in detention together for separate reasons.

She taught her bully a lesson she will never forget

“Your girl did not get detention frequently, okay? This is very much out of my element,” she told TikTok. Nevertheless, she was stuck with Kristen, who often picked on her, alongside her clique.

She recalled that Kristen’s minions didn’t even have to be there. They just showed up to “support” their queen bee. But while they were there, the group of girls started picking on the other people in the room. While throwing off insults, it was finally the woman’s turn.

“I usually, at that point, let things brush off my shoulder,” she said. But on that day, her crush was in detention with her. The woman felt more bravado than usual, and the feeling gave her the boost to stand up to Kristen.

Once Kristen and her friend started talking about her, she turned around.

“Kristen, how cool is it that you’re literally here because your dad hates himself? He found the most desperate, I guess a perk, ugliest white woman to have a child with and produced you in hopes of ridding himself of the blackness that he hates so much,” she told Kristen. But she wasn’t finished.

“And I’m sure he would love nothing more in this life than for you to marry a white man to also continue the tradition of purifying your family. You are nothing more than a product of your dad’s own insecurities. That’s it—that’s why you’re here.” After dropping what seemed to be some of the coldest comebacks against a bully, Kristen never spoke to her again after the incident.

The woman felt proud of herself as she reminisced about the story. But upon seeing Kristen’s wedding photos, she felt even more surprised.

“Fast forward, looking at her wedding—y’all? She married a dark-skinned Black man!” She was smiling.

“First of all, girl, you proved me wrong.” She laughed. Social media commenters were in support of her for advocating for herself at the time. But others also commented that she probably changed Kristen’s life trajectory after delivering that sick burn.
