She was either leaving with her friend or screaming until the cops came.

Woman says her friend went to a Cornell frat party in 2006. She refused to leave without her

Jacqueline (@jac.rose8) shared her alleged experience at a Cornell University frat party. In 2006, she said she and her friend were separated during the night. Concerned for her safety, Jacqueline went searching for her friend.

“With the Cornell 7 happening, I thought I would share my story, because the frats in Cornell are absolutely insidious,” Jacqueline told TikTok. Cornell University has recently been scrutinized online after a former student filed a lawsuit against several men from the Chi Phi fraternity for alleged rape.

“When I was a sophomore, it was very common for us to go to frat parties. We realized pretty quickly that it was dangerous and not something that we should continue to do,” Jacqueline continued. In one of the last parties she went to, Jacqueline said she was with several friends, one of whom she nicknamed Claire. During the event, Claire got separated from the group.

“I texted her, and I couldn’t find her, and I was freaking out. Everyone around me, all the men—no one cared,” she alleged. Jacqueline said she kept searching for her friend, even though none of the men around her wanted to help.

“I’m not leaving Claire alone. She’s alone. She was a virgin at the time, so I know she, like, didn’t want to sleep with someone random,” she said. Jacqueline added that her friend was extremely inebriated at the time, making it unsafe for her friend to be by herself.

Eventually, Claire texted her, telling Jacqueline that she was in a big, white house. “She couldn’t text coherent sentences. She was alone with a man who took her home,” Jacqueline claimed.

Refusing to leave her friend alone at a Cornell frat house

“A lovely gay man came with me and helped me, and I just started to go to all the huge white frat houses,” she recalled. Jacqueline entered one, and she recognized the man. She told him she needed Claire, but he allegedly told her not to worry because she was with John. Jacqueline was told her friend was having a great time, but she didn’t budge.

“I’m not leaving this house until you get me Claire,” she said. More men started coming over, and they refused Jacqueline’s request. Regardless, Jacqueline stood her ground and threatened to scream if the men didn’t hand her friend over. “Do you want that? Because the police will come, and I will not stop screaming until someone comes,” Jacqueline recalled her threat. The men finally acquiesced and surrendered Claire to Jacqueline.

“She didn’t even know her freaking name. She was holding a shoe. It was absolutely awful,” Jacqueline said. Her friend was allegedly assaulted but not raped. “In summary, a man took home a completely intoxicated woman who couldn’t speak. She couldn’t send me coherent text messages,” she alleged. Jacqueline believes the man took her friend, then told other men in his fraternity not to let her leave the house.

A culture of violence

“This is the culture of frats. Men can do whatever they want. I can go on with more stories of how scary it is,” she said. Jacqueline claimed she also had stories of men plotting to get her and her friends drunk but didn’t elaborate on them.

After sophomore year, Jacqueline said they stopped going to frat parties altogether. She grimly added, “This happened to me in 2006, and it’s 2026, and we’re still talking about the same thing, and nothing has gotten better.” But allegations of violence against women aren’t exclusive to one university alone. Another woman said that after her ex-boyfriend threatened to end her life on campus, authorities allegedly dismissed her complaint as a “love triangle.”
