Woman hears something inside a Twisted Tea can, then discovers something that should ideally be in a toilet
The tea was indeed twisted

A disturbing discovery inside a Twisted Tea can has left a customer shocked and raising concerns about product safety and quality control. In a TikTok video, Keeks (nikiyasgotquestions) explained that her husband finished a can of the drink and heard a noise from inside.
When she shook the can and looked inside, Keeks found what appeared to be a paper towel or similar absorbent material. She clarified that it wasn’t a rat or mold. Keeks then zoomed in on the can’s interior and remarked, “Yeah, that’s like toilet paper or a paper towel. That’s frightening.”
She also questioned the FDA’s negligence, suggesting it isn’t monitoring products properly. “This is what happens when the FDA no longer has oversight on your products. Yep. How the f*** does that even happen?” she asked.
“It’s a mouse isn’t it”
In a later video, Keeks cut open the Twisted Tea container and showed the audience a soaked piece of material that resembled a paper towel inside. As she examined it, it disintegrated. Observing the incident, Keeks urged her audience to stay safe and consume canned items with caution.
Keeks’ original video of her discovery gained significant traction, amassing over 4 million views. The video also received a significant number of likes, comments, shares, and saves.
In the comments, some people were skeptical of Keeks’ case and refused to believe what she was saying. One person said, “idk i feel like you put that there for views.” Another wrote, “They were both bored. And they wanted to make a TikTok, so they put some paper in their cup. That’s it.”
A few others thought Keeks’ situation was credible and shared their own experiences with something similar. One person commented, “When I was a bit younger. I used to drink twisted teas until one day I opened a fresh can just like that and took a sip. Felt something solid go into my mouth. Immediately spit it out. Turns out it was a cigarette butt… proceeded to throw up for 15-20 mins…” Another remarked, “Those kool aid bags drinks had something in it too, my daughters almost got ill.”
Some people in the comments thought what Keeks found in the Twisted Tea can was a tea bag. One person said, “It’s most likely the tea bag?” Another wrote, “It looks like a tea bag which would make sense.”
Amidst all of the commenters expressing conflicting opinions, one individual with a background in the brewing industry weighed in. They highlighted how an instance such as Keeks’ could have happened. They wrote, “I worked at a brewery, it can happen. All I had to do was inspect cans going by the conveyor before it’s boxed. Happens when they fire the workers and rely on robots. Lol.”
Recently, social media has seen a surge in content about customers finding items in their food or drinks that shouldn’t be there. Notably, a woman found a tooth in her Dutch Bros. Coffee and was then banned from their website and store.
