Woman Discovers Huge DoorDash Delivery on Porch. Then Grows More Confused After Seeing Neighbor’s House: ‘What Happened?’

A woman was left completely puzzled when she stepped out of her home and found several boxes of pizza allegedly delivered by DoorDash despite not having placed any orders. Her confusion grew even more when she saw that her neighbor was in the same predicament.
@kritchenscissors shared the incident on TikTok and told viewers that “I need help trying to figure out this mystery.” According to kritchenscissors, she received 19 boxes of pizzas, calzones, and steak tip salads from DoorDash from someone named “Barry K” in Salem, Massachusetts, which is all the information she received.
When kritchenscissors looked at her neighbor’s house, she found that they also had a large order from the same person, but with four large bags from Bonchon instead. “We walked over there, and this food is also for Barry,” kritchenscissors said. “Barry! What happened? What the f***?”
Barry’s DoorDash order was donated
In her comments, kritchenscissors told viewers that instead of keeping the food, they donated all of the boxes to a local homeless shelter. “We called and asked if they wanted it (yes we told them it had been sitting out there) and they said they’d take it,” kritchenscissors said. “No food wasted here!”
Still, the mystery of who Barry K is sparked conversation and attracted over 1.6 million views. “I need to hear from the man himself,” kritchenscissors added in her caption. While no Barrys came forward, or at least the real Barry, as others seemingly made an account posing as him, other viewers were left curious and shared their theories on what might have happened.
“Either Barry is very upset his party is missing food OR Barry has a child that was using their phone and they gonna be real upset when they find out,” one viewer wrote. Another said, “It’s probably someone’s mans cheated the girl found out saw DoorDash still connected with his card and ordered it for random people.”
One viewer even claimed to have packed the Bonchon order, along with a photo of the receipt for Barry. “I PACKED THAT BONCHON ORDER thats literally my handwriting on the bags. we had to close early because the order was so large,” the viewer said.
The search for Barry continues
Despite trying to find Barry, who may have just more than $1000 dollars with these orders, kritchenscissors said she still hadn’t found him in a second video. “I have not found Barry yet. I have gotten into contact with DoorDash, they are looking into it,” she said. “Hopefully, they can find some information.”
kritchenscissors also tried solving the Barry K mystery by contacting the Bonchon store, but she was unable to find out more beyond the time and price of the order. She later tried enlisting the help of Facebook groups, but admits she didn’t feel optimistic that she’d find him. “I’m going to be honest. I don’t think we’re gonna find him. I’m not even sure Barry exists,” she said.
With her hopes of finding Barry dwindling, kritchenscissors considered that he was either scammed or that Barry was the scammer, like her viewers suggested. She didn’t rule out the other possible reasons either. But at least Barry’s generous food order didn’t completely go to waste.
