Washington woman allegedly touches teen on bus without consent. Then loses it when he confronts her: ‘I can touch you if I want to’

The woman seemingly lost control of her emotions when she was told to stop touching another person.

Even in 2026, consent seems to be a concept that is still widely debated. While the internet often hears stories where a woman was touched without consent, men can also be on the receiving end of unwanted advances. That was the case for one teen, whose bus ride in Bellevue, Washington, devolved into a heated confrontation with a woman whom he accused of touching him.

“Random woman [harasses] me on the bus,” Eesa (@eesasocold) wrote on-screen in a video shared on TikTok, which captured the incident involving an older woman. According to Eesa, the incident happened when he was a minor at the time he recorded the video, although he did not clarify how long ago that was before he publicly shared the recording.

In the video, Eesa said he was commuting on the Crossroads B Line bus along 156th Avenue when a woman he didn’t know allegedly began talking to him while he was wearing earphones. However, what prompted Eesa to begin recording was that the woman allegedly kept touching his knee beforehand.

Woman turns the tables and accuses teen of harassment

While the video did not capture the woman committing the alleged act, it did show her becoming visibly upset when Eesa told her to stop touching him. The woman, meanwhile, insisted she was “being nice” and accused Eesa of being “not friendly” when he repeatedly told her he wasn’t obliged to respond to her.

The woman began packing up her items, seemingly preparing to leave as she and Eesa were locked in a dispute, only for the situation to devolve further when the woman accused the Washington-based teen of being “in my face.” Eesa, however, remained seated and appeared to try to move away from the woman’s sudden approach.

“You guys see this, right? I didn’t touch her,” Eesa told other passengers. The woman then approached the bus driver, to whom she seemingly admitted to having touched Eesa. “I asked the guy if he used hair gel. […] I literally brushed his leg a little tiny bit,” the woman said.

The woman later accused Eesa of harassing her and maintained that she was “not breaking the rules,” to which Eesa threatened to call the police on her. “I asked if you used hair gel, and you’re freaking out. Are you nuts?” the woman yelled.

Eesa, however, was left even more speechless when he heard the woman’s response to him insisting she couldn’t touch him: “I can touch you if I want to! Yes, I can!” The woman ultimately deboarded the bus after the driver and Eesa threatened to call the police.

A simple shove can be considered assault in Washington

Viewers were left equally speechless at Eesa’s experience, but praised the teen for recording the incident. “Good job recording, I’m glad you had that chance!” one commenter wrote. Another added, “She said u were in her face then proceeded to get in ur face and hit ur camera.”

Some felt that the situation should have been handled sooner by the driver. “Why did the driver let that go on so long? I’m sorry you were accosted by that person,” a commenter said. Others urged Eesa to file a report on the woman, saying, “I’d go ahead and file a police report after the fact if you haven’t already… if you run into her again you’ll be glad you did.”

In Washington, an individual can claim assault in such an instance, as the court defines it as any unwanted physical harm, according to Beck With Law. Notably, signs of injury or harm as a result of the unwanted touch are not required; only that the victim considers the touch offensive. However, intent behind the action also plays a role.

In Eesa’s case, the woman’s alleged actions may fall under assault in the fourth degree due to the intentional contact, which is a gross misdemeanor in the state. If found guilty of this charge, the perpetrator may be sentenced to jail for a maximum of one year or be fined up to $5,000.
