Sunday night’s Writers Guild Awards weren’t just about movies and television. Attendees such as late night host Seth Meyers and Daily Show writer David Kibuuka spoke up about tackling politics in the Age of Trump. Plus, journalists such as the New Yorker’s Jelani Cobb and former MSNBC anchor and current Atlantic editor Alex Wagner opened up about how the president’s hostility towards the media has affected their approach to covering the news.

In case you missed it, Trump recently tweeted that outlets such as the New York Times, ABC, CBS and CNN were the “enemy of the American people.” This was after he called media stories “fake news” and his administration even referred to the press as “the opposition party.”

Check out the above video to hear what they had to say.
