This movie is going to destroy us emotionally.
Oh my feels, it’s the Jossiest thing to ever Joss. All your faves, sitting around, bein’ drunk assholes, and them bam: you were not prepared for this level of terrible in your life. (See: Firefly, “Out of Gas,” among many, many others.)
ABC also aired the first TV spot for Agent Carter last night. I saw ABC and not Marvel because I refuse to believe anyone on the Peggy production team had anything to do with this mess of an advertisement:
The unnecessary garter shot? “Sometimes the best man for the job… is a woman?” Was that real? Did that just happen? I’m going to run with, “Maybe they were trying to make it look like a sexist advertisement from the ’40s and really getting into the theme of the show!” because damn, ABC. What in the hell. To set your minds at ease, though, I saw the first five minutes of Agent Carter, and it is way, way better than that.
